How do I care for my silver jewelry??

Lots of factors can tarnish your silver jewelry. I recommend using a buffing cloth to gently rub your piece every time you take it off, this will definitely help prevent your silver from tarnishing.

Depending on your piece and the stone, silver polishes can be hard on the stone and sometimes even the silver itself, I recommend using a buffing cloth, and if the piece is heavily tarnished a little bit of toothpaste or gentle dish soap and a soft-bristled brush works perfectly! Just make sure to avoid the stone so you don’t accidentally ruin it!

Wear and tear over time is to be expected! Sometimes your rings and bracelets can become misshapen from taking them off and putting them on stretching the silver, loosening the piece. Sometimes the stone can become loose as well. This is usually caused by liquid getting between the stone and setting in everyday wear and the silver slowly stretching over time (this can be caused by simply bumping your piece on something).

It is also very important to take your silver jewelry off before any long water exposure: before taking a shower, swimming, or even doing the dishes.

These normal wear and tears are definitely fixable! If you have a piece that you have bought from me I will be more than willing to fix your piece, just reach out to me!!
